1Place sweet potatoes in a 2 to 3 1/2-quart slow cooker.
2Mix applesauce, maple syrup, butter, and cinnamon together and spoon over potatoes.
3Cover and cook on a low heat setting 6 to 8 hours or until potatoes are very tender.
4Sprinkle with nuts and serve.
